​​​​Celebrate Simcoe Day 2026 with Toronto history authors, booksellers, podcasters, and historical societies on Monday, August 3, 2026!

For a third straight year, the York Pioneer & Historical Society (YPHS), the Town of York/Toronto's First Post Office, and the Riverdale Historical Society are partnering to bring together people who share a passion for Toronto's rich past!

​

Join us from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at St. Matthew's Clubhouse, 450 Broadview Avenue (just north of Gerrard Street East) for an afternoon dedicated to exploring Toronto history!

​

Browse curated artifact displays, meet and chat with local authors and podcasters, connect with historical societies, and take part in guided neighbourhood walks. Whether you're a lifelong history enthusiast or simply curious about Toronto's past, you'll discover something new and meet others who share your interest!

Admission is free. Come celebrate Toronto's history and the people who help keep its stories alive!
